The demonstration uses software that simulates 4 players in the market and the broker by means of 4 file directories. In a real system, all 5 agents are widely separated in space, run on different host computers and communicate by means of secure Internet methods. .
The software itself was quickly written, thinly documented, and tested enough to get a few good runs. The software code is not production grade but the prototype software code shows clearly the level of difficulty that is encountered when implementing the novel part of the BEDM method in software code.
